I have a passion for analog traditions such as sending letters or shooting film on an analog camera. For this animation I recorded sounds from my Nikon F3 including the motor drive, advance lever and shutter. Sounds from my Pentax K1000 were also used. Each camera has its own sounds and vibrations, part of what makes them so satisfying to use. In this Self portrait animation, these sounds are paired with my "Reels" which are digital collages of my 35mm photographs.
