This is not so much a project as it is a documentation of my life. Whenever I get a roll of 35mm film back, I create a digital collage known as a "reel". These seamless stories can be paired with other media I create or my own exerpt.
I was first inspired to make these because instagram created a "carousel" feature that allowed users to link pictures together which you would swipe right through. I made these reels specifically for the instagram platform. While they are beautiful to look at unfolded, it is best to appreciate them up close, piece by piece.
