Snake is a merchandise brand designed by skaters, for Skaters.
My brand draws heavily from graffiti culture. Often times people who skateboard have an affinity for graffiti, and vice versa. Additionally, these two outcast hobbies can be found in similar locations most people don't bother spending time in.
My font, created with a broad paint marker, Is inspired by roller graffiti. This is a style of graffiti created using a paint roller on a pole, good for reaching spots that would otherwise be impossible to paint. Due to the nature of a fixed width roller, this style of graffiti is typically seen with blocky letters and sharp edges.
The primary logo is designed to be separated into individual snakes
The Ad campaign is the most important part of our image. It plays off the fact that only people who skateboard will understand the message, and if it doesn't immediately make sense, clearly SNAKE is not the brand for you. If it does, well we invite you to try SNAKE.
One of the goals with the campaign was to make the Ads seem like they could have been graffiti'd on.
